I used to bite my nails. I finally stopped about a year ago, and my nails took forever to get strong and long. Now that I have strong nails, I want to reward myself by getting a manicure (not fake nails, though). How long do my nails have to be for that? And what is a good price? What if my cuticles aren't the best?

you can get a manicure at any length, they will treat your cuticles, I wouldn't pay more than $20.00, but I guess it depends on where you live as to what a fair price is

they do not have to be long at all! i am a nail biter and i get a manicure all the time. The average price for a manicure at a nail shop is 20-30 dollars but if you go to a fancy salong your looking at 50-60. During the manicure they will clean up your cuticles for you. VERY RELAXING good reward while your there get a pedicure their even better

Believe it or not, if you soak your nails in butter (melted) it will help with the cuticle problem. As far as the length of your nails, they don't have to be long at all. Prices range from $10-$20.00 for a manicure. Depends on where you are and where you go.

Length of the nail and cuticle condition is not important. Cost can be anywhere from 8- 20 dollars depending on the salon. The more upscale the salon the more the price. The salon I go to is upscale but not too "upity" and the cost for my manicure is 10 and I give a five dollar tip.

You dont have to have super long nails to get a manicure. In fact if you want them to LOOK longer... get the french tips. That helps. They will fix your cuticles if they're bad, but its recommended not to cut them, just push them back. Where I go, I get an awesome manicure for like $30 and they even do the parifin wax dip. Its soothing.

Your nails can be any length to get a manicure and they will take care of your cuticles. Probably $15.

Pullleeeeeezzz. You're nails can be short or long to get a manicure. Men get manicures too and their nails are generally short and their cuticules are dried up. A good price would be $15 and up. Get a pedicure too. You're worth it. I used to have dried up, smelly, toe jammed feet and after only one pedicure (to see what they do) and 4 weeks of taking care of my toes, heels and painting my own toe nails, I wear sandals with confidence. Hint: Buy a pumice stone at the grocery store in the beauty section and scrub the heck out of your heels and bottom of your feet and your fee will recover from years of neglect.

To get a manicure you don't have to have a specific longitude in your nails. A good price would be $10 - $20.

Your nails don't have to be very long and they will fix your cuticles for you. Price depends on where you live. I usually pay around 25.

it doesnt really matter how long they are..the only thing is the manicurist cant magically make them grow so if they are short now thats how they will look painted...if you are getting acrilics put on it doesnt matter how long they are just as long as there is something for the acrilic to adhere to. just a regular manicure which is a massage, citicle removal, file, and clip is usually around $15. if you are looking at fake nails those are usually $25 on the low end and up to $35 is the most i have ever paid for mine.
