Because of my immigration status I must drop that order. Do I have to hire lawyer?

You got the order for a reason!!!! You might want to think this through. You have to go to the department inwhich you filed the order and fill out the release. Think about this! Are you sure that you want to go back......

You have to Petition the Court to drop it, from the court that issued the Protective Order

once a charge is filed, especially domestic matters, the DA's office can continue with the matter even if the compliantant no longer wishes to proceed. once the law is involved, there's no telling.
