I guess you need to contact the social worker or lawyers who did the placement to send you the latest pictures, if that was part of the adoption agreement.
You should not try to contact the family yourself or they will think you are trying to take the child away from them. When he is 18, you can register with parentfinders and, when he registers, you will have contact information exchanged.
If you know the adoptive parents' names, you can do a google search on one name inside quotation marks to see their personal/business homepages.
That said, wouldn't it be better for you to just stay away and let your son get on with family life? You can wish him well and keep him in your heart and hope to see him when he is man. You will always be the woman who gave birth to him, but you aren't his mother. His mother is the woman who has taken care of him every day for the last eight years.
I am sorry you feel the loss so strongly. I hope you can find someway to deal with your past and find peace in yourself.

I've never heard of that. Usually for adoption you can choose open or closed adoption. With open adoption you can pictures and even visit but with closed adoption you have no right to a picture or any information at all about the child.

Oh sweetie,
Some people on here have been mean to you. I think what you did was an honorable thing. Your a Mom even if you did give your baby up to someone else who could provide for them better. So being a Mom that means you will still have feelings for the child....deep feelings. Telling you to "get over it" is cruel.
I'm sorry I don't know how to help you. I wish I did. I just had to reply because my heart went out to you.

Its been 8 years, the kid would have been adopted already. No adoption agency would keep their kids' pictures online after an adoption.
You gave him up, just try to forget about him. trying to see him is only going to make it harder on you.

I agree with the lady who said people are being mean to you. My mother and my aunt were both adopted as children and the love their adopted mom bvery much but my aunt did get the opprotunity to meet her biological mother and was very glad she did. I wish you all the best in your search!!

Try contacting the adoption center you used. They might be able to help locate him. Of course I think he can't find out who his birth mother is until he is 18 but I think you can find out info on him. Good luck, I hope you can find him.

If you know of the adoption agency you could check their website. Personally I don't recommending you do it. You made a decision to let him go. It sounds like maybe your regretting your decision.
