I think it just to irritate those of us who find them offensive. At the campground that we go to there is a guy who has one, and I told him not to be surprised if he found it cut up into a million pieces and laying on his porch.

Why does it piss you off??? If it pisses you off then it's clear you don't understand it's true meaning or what the Civil War was really about. It is an honorable symbol of American history that desreves reverence as a lot of Americans died for that flag just as a lot of Americans have died for the Stars and Stripes.

Unfortunately, little understand it's purpose and have either mislead or misrepresented it over the decades.

As a remembrance of their dead who died under the Confederate flag. My family was Southern Unionist but I have no problem with the flag.

Check out the meaning of Freedom in America.

What does it matter if they want to fly the Confederate Flag?

I'm sure that when it comes to placing a ban on something you want to do, then you would be even more pissed.

Pride and heritage. Does it upset you to see a Mexican flag or an English flag, or an Italian Flag? We defeated all of them at one time too.

I respect your right to be pissed off. Respect other people's right to fly their flag.

Who knows, the only thing it represents is just a bunch of losers who could'nt win a war. Why fly a flag of failure.

Better to be p*ssed of than p*ssed on...
Long live the Confederate Flag and all that it stands for, (NOT just about losing a war, that's for sure)!

Just because we lost the war does not mean we lost our pride. I believe you have to be a true Southerner to understand what the War meant, and why it is still alive to us.
