Lets say, one of the coaches on Ghana's WC team is from America. Of course they beat & knocked out U.S. today. Is that treason against his home country, if he is an American?

I'm sure you're being facetious--but remember, this is just sports. He's not trying to overthrow the government, he's just trying to win a game.
On the other hand: the Founding Fathers, like Washington, Jefferson, Hancock--all of them--what they did WAS treason. Had the Revolutionary War gone the other way, they'd have all been executed as traitors.

It's just a game. No national secrets were divulged, no Americans died or were hurt in any way physically, it isn't treason.
