If I want to test my teenager for drugs and he drinks a lot of water or anything else, will the test be negative or will it pick up the drug? He gets tested at his dad's and has failed before. Now I wonder if he is wanting to come to my house to get away from the test so I will have a test here also. I don't know if he is getting the pills to make a neg. test or not (from friends)

coming from someone wit friends in good jobs hoo take lot,s of urinalis tests; u can throw off a pee test. walmart, GNC, smoke shops and just about any place sells something to throw off a pee test.

your best bet is to catch him off guard while he is sleep and get his first sample of urine when he wakes up and if ur really concerned for him. stand behind him or just leave the door open or maybe even have another male u can trust to stand there outside with you with the door open.

Yes it will alter the test. The sample should be yellow and not clear and be near body temperature. If a lot of water is consumed before hand it will be diluted. If sent to a test lab they will mark it as "Dilute". If it is a home test it will probably show negative.

Hmmm, I don't think so. You should call a pharmacist or doctor to figure it out for sure.
