Actually its her Family who came up with proposal and I'm not sure what is the best way to say no....the reason I don't want to marry is that I have cancer and neither her family nor my family knows that.....I don't want to tell my family about myself they would be very upset....I think myfamily is also interested in this marriage

If you don't want to marry her.. Don't be forced into something you don't want to do..
Regarding your condition..I'm sure you have your reasons for not sharing this with those that love you. This is something you should not be going through alone. If you have a life threatening disease you should really have those that love you involved. Imagine they not knowing, knowing the thought you kept this to yourself. Please allow them to be with you during this time, by having their support may also help you to heal and fight this disease.

Good for you for coming to a very difficult decision to say no. It sounds like this family is important to you - but you recognize that the marriage isn't the right thing.
I would sit down with this girl all by yourself. Make sure no one else is around. This is between you and her - not you and her family for right now. Explain to her how you feel. There is no easy way to avoid hurting someone in this case and she is going to be upset. But it is far better to do this now than truly hurt everyone involved with a bad marriage later.
Then explain to your family what you did. If these families are truly close and friendly - that friendship will survive this. If this ruins that friendship - then they aren't as close as they think they are. Relationships change over time - it's part of life.

As she proposed to you, make it clear that you absolutely do not have any feelings for her and that there is a guy out there who is better than you that is for her. Tell her that you really do appreaciate having a friendship with her and not want marriage/love to destroy the friendship tie between the both of you.

Say" I am sorry but I think of us as just friends and I want you to know that because I said no that dosen't mean you can't keep on looking for your partner, there is someone out there for you, wait and see the time will come and you will fall in love with your match made in heaven, but until then let's just be friends!

When 2 Christians get married. It's not really family members.
Your brothers and sisters in Christ. OK?
Now. Problem solved. Your Pastor will help you with this , after church Sunday.
Good Luck.

Sorry, you have any respect for her you have to let the family go too. I had an ex who stayed friends with my dad and it made it very difficult for my now husband to get to know me.

Tell her that you are flattered, and you hope you two can stay friends, but you just don't feel you are at a place in your life where you should be married right now.

why don't you send the message through the grape vine that you are not interested in marriage right now so she doesn't have to go through the trouble and humiliation of asking you.
