why don't more than 17 people answer my questions?

A lot of people only answer the newest questions whenever they logon. Since there are so many questions being added all of the time, yours didn't stay new long enough for those people to answer it. If you wait, there will be more people find it.

I choose to skip the questions that have a long explaination with them.

Though judging from the responses here, it ain't half bad.
I believe strongly in questions that grab people's attention. That's not offensive, patronizing, etc.
It has to provide a good forum for people to express their opinions. Also having it listed under the appropriate category plays a huge role too.

try asking something especially stupid. it seems to me that those questions get the most responses. just keep on asking!!

also, the seriuos topics that ppl are genuinly interested in, create quite an answering list. depends on the caliber or intellegence of ppl on the site at the time, too

Perhaps you don't ask interesting enough questions.

Maybe they are unclear or have bad spelling or grammar (not true in this case).

I try to ask questions that make people think, or perhaps open their eyes to something. What do you ask about?

well. just like with mine too. the most is 13. you know why? cus when people see that serveral people have answered your question, they think you will not return to your question to read their answer. so that is why they dont asnwer your questions too much. got it, get it, good.

think of a interesting topic like something that has been in the news. or talk about celebrities
