I am not sure what you are asking need additional information. I think you are asking at what parental care is not needed in the USA. Parents are responsible for you until the age of 18 years old, also, one cannot get an apartment, checking account until the age of 18. Good luck to you.

Kids can have checking accounts BEFORE the age of 18. You can be 12 years old and have a checking account.

As far as your question goes...You will need to go to court for that and prove that your CAN take care of yourself. Without anyones help.

only if you go through court and become what they call emancapated. you have to prove to the court that you are better off without your parents and can provide for you by yourself. i seriously would think long and hard before you do it. the only other way is running away and by no means am i saying to do that. even though it might be hard to live with your parents right now you will thank them years latter for it.

I believe in order to do that you would have to emancipate yourself from your parents, or divorce them persay, and be able to prove you could care for yourself.
