I just lost my father 6 months ago. It was very unexpected.. We had our ups and downs through the yrs, but reconciled abouth 5 months before he passed. i NEver got the chance to say good-bye. But I know he watches over me, and my son. And ppl probably think I'm crazy for saying this: but i talk to him every night before I go to sleep. Can't say that I know for sure he hears me, but I think he does. I'm not real religious, but I believe i'll see him again someday. He's only gone from this earth, not my heart. So I try to remember the good times we had (though few), funny things he'd say or do. Or the quality time he spent with me when he could. And even though I miss him, my memories always have him near to me.

yes, and it hurts very much..how ever in my case i havent talked to that person for a while so when i lost them there was a lot of regret! i wish i had the chance 2 say goodbye n a chance 2 say how i really felt...its been a lil over a year now and i still think of how everything happened so fast..sometimes its still hard to cope wit but as time goes on the healing process begins. life is short! 2morrow isnt promised 2day so live life to the fullest n b thankful that u have lived another day.

Yes i lost my grandmother when I was starting my first year of college. She die the summer of 1977 and I never got the chance to tell her goodbye and I love her.
At the time she was in the hospital dying from cancer and my mother decide not to honor her last wish to see me.

Yeah, just a couple of weeks ago my grandmother passed away and I didn't get a chance to say goodbye.

I wrote her a letter to say all the things I didn't get to say and then mailed it with the address just saying: To: Mom-mom.

It made me feel better and I'm sure she was watching over my shoulder as I wrote it. She's in heaven reading it right now.

Yep - My Dad died a year ago. He went so fast that no one was able to say "goodbye". Luckily, I saw him on Father's Day - so I had seen him a few days earlier..

Hang in there - it's not a fun thing to deal with.

Yes, my mom. I have regretted it the whole 6 years she has been gone. I know she loved me, but I didn't get the chance to tell her I loved her.
