I unfortunately know a great deal about this subject...........

An auto immune deficeicy disease is one where the bodies immune system does not have a stop control. The immune system has a wonderful way of recognizing and destroying invading cells that get into our bodies, viruses, bacteria, parasites, etc. It uses raising the bodies temperature to a higher level to cause the invaders to burn up or to make the body sweat out the impurities. It sends out white blood cells to fight off infections from these invaders trying to take over our bodies, and they are very effective at this, we develope natural immunities to lots of diseases when we get the disease and then fight and win. Our bodies will make an antibody cell that will recognize a certain illness and immediatley it is not going to be able to attach to any cell in our bodies and dies without making us sick again. mumps , measles, chickenpox, etc. are a few of these illnesses .

But when it is not working like it should and is turned up on high speed, the immune system after it has no more bad cells to kill will start destroying good tissue and eventually organs as if they were enemy cells. No one knows why it happens it just does.

Some of types of autoimmune diseases are Lupus, Rhematoid Arthritis, and Sclerderma. AIDS is not in this catagory of immune diseases as it is an Auto (A) Immune (I) DEFICIENCY (D) Syndrome (S) type of illness. What I am talking about here is not a deficiency it is an over efficiency of the body.

In lupus (my mother had this type) you develope a fever and no infection is present, your joints and digits swell and hurt so badly you cannot move. Sometimes you develope a brown butterfly shaped mark on your facial skin and any skin that is exposed to sunlight. You begin to grow bone over joints in the fingers and toes. This causes the gnarled fingers of rhumetoid arthritis also.
The body is fighting a non-existent battle with a non-existent intruder. It has no eye sight to see any more and is blindly attacking the bodies good tissue and destroying it. There are no cures for any of these diseases and they can only help with the symptoms for so long.

People with these types of diseases must be careful to not catch a cold or in any way make their immune systems turn on to fight something because it does not know when to quit. People with a problem called leaky gut often develope these diseases.
The theory behind it is that a leaky gut will steadily release bacteria into the body and the immune system over a period of time just goes crazy and can't stop fighting even if nothing is remaining to fight.

Sclerderma is a type of auto immune disease that is when the bodies repair engine of collagen production goes into triple drive and starts to cover the entire body with a covering of collagen and the body becomes hard and the hands curve in and cannot be moved, resembling a claw. The feet and legs are affected next and then the torso, and finally it turns inside and attacks the internal organs. This is the cruelest of all these I have mentioned. The person's body turns basically to stone. and the pain and dependancy of their existence is so awful I just can't describe the awfulness of this disease. ( my aunt is now suffering the last stages and I am helping with her care. It is so horribly unfair)

AIDS. Thats what autoimmune disorder is. So you might see if you are HIV positive as well. No cure known to man at this time, only management drugs that are quite costly.
