Dont you all think that it is time we left this white people alone?? they were born like this, with no heart and cruel people, they feel that them being WHITE means PURE/ANGELS/CLEAN, and BLACK means DEVIL/SATAN/INFERIOR, believe it or not but this is the White people's mentality, they believe they are special, God's chosen people,blessed, and thats why they look down upon Blacks, they beleive blacks are cursed and dont deserve to live, (i remember one white person telling me that she feels blessed and lucky that she was not born Black!!!)
i think its time we of other different colours to understand that white people were racist, are racist and will always be racist, there is nothing we can do about it. For them it means power when they mistreat a black or other different skin coloures. They are heartless, selfish, ignorant, box minded just like their forefathers.
my advice to all other people of different skin colours is ignore them completely, finally they will feel stupid.

well the responds coming from whites prove everything, iam not a racist but it hurts me when i see racism or i experience racism, unfortunately those inflicting racism dont want to hear of it.

Well I will say this, I undertsand what you are saying. But how you wrote it was kind of mean. What you meant is that most white people have this thing to look at color first. I've seen it and most people don't realize it. Ex. If a white person sees a crime and it was a black person who did it, automatically when asked to describe they would say race first. But if it would be a black person witnessing a crim done by a white person the black person would have mentioned height or clothes first when asked to describe. The important thing for you too understand is that not all white people think like you stated. There are some white people that think every race is equal. And not surprisingly some black people think that way of whites. Personally everyone should feel proud of their race. I'm blessed to be an african american. I'm happy with my culture. We've accomplished alot. We've invented and started alot. We are the most imitated race. So I'm proud of who I am. But I also know that there are bad and ignorant people in all races. But I do understand what you meant. And yes in most whites they do have this thing as in blacks can't be a certain way because of where we came from. But how you change it is not just talking about it; teach the upcoming generations better. Let them learn from our mistakes.

Little sister, I feel your aggrivation. I know all about your pain. Racism is about fear and fear is learned. No one is born a racist. Not all white people are racist. My grandmother was Irish and White as snow. She married a black man and had 10 of his babies. As far as white people being racist, those are people who are afraid of change and are afraid of what they don't understand and don't take the time out to understand because they're scared. If you actually listen to a racist speak you'll notice that pretty much all their reasons for hating other people are totally unfounded.
What we both can do as Black Women is fight the sterotypes. If you ask white people what their first thoughts of black people are they'll tell you, their lazy, they don't want to work, they all do drugs, all black men are rapist and drug dealers, most black girls end up pregnate and drop out of high school and always end up haveing 3-4 more kids and they're all on welfare.....This is alot of what non-minoritiy people are taught and programed to belive. It sucks but it is something that can change. It's not gonna change over nite but it can change. It's gonna take work of all minorities to break those stereotypes down. You as an individual can do what you can... Stay in school and graduate, don't get pregnate, go to college and get that degree. Show the world that you are nothing like a sterotype. I'm on my way of doing that myself. Don't let the anger and aggrivation get you down. Use it as ammo. Remember you're not alone in your struggle little sister.

People will always be racist, yes, if they think as you have described. The only way to potentially change the thinking and behavior of racists is to keep pointing out forcefully how hateful and painful their actions are.
It is never time to "let people alone" for bigoted, racist, demeaning, anti-women, or homophobic actions.
There is always something that everyone can do about racism and the other evilness that people inflict on each other. If we remain quiet about it, we condone it.

Do you realise that when you state that ALL white people are as you describe you yourself are being racist (which includes ignorance and stupidity). Racism is taking some attribute of a particular race or ethnic group and labelling the entire population of that race or ethnicity as being such. And this is what you have just done here in your question

I am a white man with black roots so to speak, and I am offended by your question because not all white people or black people or yellow people or red people or brown people are the same as the stereotype that they are shoved into by others. I feel like if you look in the media that blacks are projected very poorly and that the rap culture and gang culture do nothing to help your apparent cause, and it was not whitey that did that.

I think you are the one showing racism against white people...your ignortant comments sound pretty sad to me. I don't feel blessed to be white and I wouldn't feel blessed if I were black...who the heck gives a crap...we are all the same underneith, aren't we? Maybe you just don't know the right people..reguardless if they are black or white...maybe its you who thinks YOU are better then everyone else...its not a black and white issue...its your own personal issue that YOU need to deal with.

Here's a suggestion: Try substituting "black" every time you say "white" in your rant above, and see if that doesn't make you sound just as racist as those you abhor.
Incidentally, I am white, but I love all of my brothers & sisters no matter what color they are - we're all members of ONE race - the HUMAN race.
