You're solid at QB -- Bledsoe should get good numbers having TO to throw to.
Running back and receivers are fair, but not outstanding.
At tight end you have two of the best --- could possibly trade one for a RB or WR.
Elam rocks and will get you big points, especially if long-range FG's are worth more points in your league.
Defenses are not bad --- Ravens aren't the force they once were but still are adequate. Bengals "D" will be on the rise as long as Marvin Lewis, who has a defensive background, is their Head Coach.

Good luck this fall!!!! :)

I hope you didn't waste 2 high picks on TE's. Heap should be pretty good, but you need some better RB's. I think Portis and Lewis will have better years this year then last, but Barlow is about useless (see if Frank Gore is available).
I would personally dump Miller (yeah, he's good, but...) and pick up Toomer. Braylon Edwards (i.e. Penis Breath, long story, I'm a Lions and MSU Spartans fan) should have a good enough year you might consider trading him or one of your other 2 WR's.
Toomer has a much better report with Eli Manning then Plaxico and I would look for Toomer to keep up his #'s he had over the 2nd half of the season.
Take a look at NFL depth charts to see if there are any available starting RB's on the waivers. An average starting RB is better then a good backup (unless the backup is on the Chiefs). Chris Brown is an injury waiting to happen and I doubt Barlow will see the majority of carries this year. It just goes to show the constant change in the NFL. Two years ago, Barlow was a late 1st, early 2nd round pick. Maybe take a flyer on Cedric Benson if his owner doesn't want too much.
You have a good team, but you would need a lot of players to have breakout seasons (Portis, Lewis - again, Bledsoe), to have a legit chance.

How many managers are in your league? I would guess 10, maybe 12. Anything less then 10 teams, and you'll probably get smoked.

Sadly, this team does not impress me.

Bledsoe may do well with Owens playing, but with T.O., you never can tell about things. Portis and Lewis are not the top notch RBs I would go after. Jamal Lewis will be splitting time with Michael Anderson in Baltimore and Clinton may be good in the later part of the season (he seems to be a late starter for some reason or another).

Your WR corps is not that imposing either. Your TE, K, and DEF are good points though.

I would drop Kevan Barlow and pick up Kevin Curtis (at least Curtis has shown he can pickup where Isaac bruce left off). Also, try to see if LenDale White is available ... that way, having him on the team will help you in case Chris Brown falls short.

I don't know about where you were set up to draft (what position) or who was available, but I believe you could have done better with what you had. Also, this is pretty early to be drafting teams ... that can be dangerous. I had an early draft and this one person picked Ricky Williams in the first round; one week later, Ricky retired. Early drafts can set up interesting and possibly dangerous situations.

I think your team right now on paper isn't too good, but it has potential to be real good if everything works out for you. Bledsoe can have a really good season with TO there. I have a feeling J. Lewis will have a breakout season and if he does your RB's will be amamzing. I think you need help at the WR position. Your TE is one of the best. I might keep an eye on Braylon Edwards he could have a good season coming from that injury. He has a lot to prove.

You know every year, you see a team that is so solid up and down, but there are a lot of "BUT'S?" I see that with your team. Drew Bledsoe is solid but he's 55 years old. Jamal is solid but coming off a poor season. Roy Williams can be great but what's up with the AB situation and the other 15 WR's they have. Andre Johnson is great but had a horrible year last year and David CArr still has no OL. Todd Heap is top 5 but is MCnair going to throw underneath? Or is he bombing it away? If those but's are gone at the 3rd/4th week point, you got yourself a solid team.

I'm gonna guess that you are a Baltimore Fan. You are good at QB, stacked at RB but your WR's suck with a capital S. Your receivers could kill your team, but the good thing about them being your weakness is every year a few undrafted WR's put up big numbers. Toomer had a horrible season last year but could put up good numbers this season. The rest of your team is solid. I like Todd Heap. He finally has a QB to get him the ball. McNair loves TE's, he threw to Wycheck like crazy for several years. Over all your team is above average, just upgrade your WR's.

Don't forget that half your team will have bye's on the same week.

yea your team isn't that great....but it could be. TO might make bledsoe one of the better QBs in the league. mcnair could finalyl give jamal a place to run. roy williams could get more TDs with kitna.

if i were you, i'd snatch rivers and winslow jr before the stupid managers in your league realize they are there. i can't believe they went undrafted. you can drop edwards (who has nobody throwing to him) and...not sure who else to drop. i typically don't like having backup TEs, Ks, or defenses...but yours are pretty good.

Your team isn't very good, honestly. Don't like your QB, ANdre Johnson is a waist.
