I met my husband 17 years ago . I slipped out of my house at night with one of my friends , new to the area I knew only a few .. my friend took me back in the woods and there a bunch of guys /a few girls were having a bomb fire ,, We were friends for a year ,, he wanted more right away , but I like just being friends with him .. I did not want to lose the friendship if we were to beak up . well he sent he flowers all the time .. when we met I was only 16 and he was 19teen .. well needless to say I gave in .. we have been together and we are both in our 30's . married and have two boys , I love him more and more every day .. never thought I would marry him .. but very glad I did . not to many people find some one that they love more every day , it is usually they fall apart more every day ..

i was 750 miles away from home and went to a New Years Eve party with my sister. This security guard walked up to me and asked me what i was drinking and he grabbed my hand and held it the entire time he talked to me. The party was at a hotel so after the party was over we went to the 4th floor where by the elevators they had a small sofa. We sat on this sofa and talked to each other about everything until well after sunrise. I went home the next day and we still talked on the phone everyday. After two months of the long distance thing I packed up everything of ours and moved in with him. We have been together ever since and getting married June 9,2007. The moment he touched my hand I knew it was love. I was sooo not going to go to the party but I thank God I did.

Well the first time we meet was at Fort Gordon the first conversation we had was a month before that online. She was a very funny and loving person who I knew had been scared as I hab been so it gave us fertile land to plant a good freindship on I never imagine at the time I'd be married now with kids. like I said I met here at my barracks she flew from Santa Cruz, CA all the way to Augusta, GA. Some really messed up crap happened that morning that I was supposed to meet her at the Airport and she thought that she had gotten stood up. Well the cab driver that came to pick me up so I could go see here arrived and I told her that I couldn't go and asked if she could goto the Airport and pick her up or me told her were our hotel reservations here and everything she said sure took off met her told her everything was going to be jsut fine paid for her dinner and took her to the hotel gave my wife her number and said call her if she needed anything. Well few hours later cabby comes to me and said she ws upset but is fine now told me she bought her breakfast and she was in the hotel. I said thanks and asked her how much and she told me not to worry about it. I knew her pretty well I mainly used her cab her name was susnshine believe it or not. Anyway so a few hours later my wife called her and asked her if she could get a ride to post when she comes out that way. Well she drove out there picked her up and brought her to the barracks I didn't know it was her becuase I never saw what she actually look like well we finally finished our training around 1300 so we all headed to the chow hall which was behind our barracks. As I was walking to chow hall I heard my voice I looked up and there she was nervous as all hell lol I think that made her look even prettier. So I spent the rest of the day with her behind the company and when it came time for me to sign out on leave we left spent the weekend in GA and the flew to Cali for a month and then I had to come back and now again I am away from her and my kids due to the ARMY

We met at random through a mutual friend; we just happened to show up at the same time to hang out with her during an episode of the "X-Files" in college.
I just started a conversation with the most beautiful woman in the room, is all. And she's always been the most beautiful woman in the room since. :)

I was working at Red Lobster as a server (I was 19 at the time, she was 21). Her family (Mom, dad, younger brother, her) came in for lunch and got sat at one of my tables. I found her attractive, so I asked a question to gauge age. I asked, "So parents taking you to lunch since you are back from college?" She said yes, which meant she was over 18. I watched her interaction with her brother because I didn't know it was her brother at the time, and I saw she didn't have a ring. So as they left, she was the last one to be getting up. I put my hand on her shoulder and said to her family and her, "Have a nice day" and I slipped her a piece of paper giving her my name, phone number, and asking her on a date.
She called me up a few days later, and she wasn't going to go on a date, she was just going to see about friendship. I didn't have cable at the time, so I would watch movies that I owned. I had giggled during our conversation about some part in "Shakespeare in Love" and she asked what I laughed about. So I told her, and we started talking about Shakespeare, and found we are both really big fans. So through that, I persuaded her to go with me to the company Christmas party (We had met on Dec 12). It's all history since then and July will be our 5 year wedding anniversary.

heehee I met him through a friend of his who was trying to get me into bed. A couple of my girlfriends and I went to go hang out with this guy @ his buddy's house. So I sat down and watched nightmare before christmas with a complete stranger a couple weeks later we started seeing each other. Now we have a baby on the way!

At a gas station, it was love at first sight. Went to a party with him that same night and been together ever since. Been married for 8 years now :)

we went to school together, but we never talked. then one day, we were both at the court house, and saw each other. i thought, hey cute guy, and i sat down across from him thinking of a way to start a conversation. then he said my name, i was like hey, how are you. so we talked a little about the ten year reunion coming up and he gave me his number to let him know when and where it would be. i went home that night, and called him and asked him out. we have been together ever since. gettin married in September!
