People usually give others power over them. Once they get the power, the elected ones abuse it and try and control your lives. There is truly no freedom anywhere in the world.

The world is not a single political unit, therefore there is no single person or one country that governs the world. A few years ago Hitler had the ambition to be the first ruler of the world. It didn't work out for him, and it won't for anyone else.

The world its governed by the Newton's Law of Physics, the incertitude principle and the force of nature. Countries are governed by politicians and economics factors of life rule their decisions.

Large Investment Banks, the Fed and IMF. Money is power in this world, and even though we may not notice, but one way or the other they shape the world economy, which in turn has implications on individual countries and then particular individuals. That's just my POV though...
