I fully agree that convicted child molesters over the age of 18 should be jailed for life. Right now, we put them in jail for a short amount of time, knowing it has the highest rate of recidivism of any crime. Then, we tell them they have to contribute to society, but they have to tell everyone they're a "sex offender" and as a result can't get a job or contribute. It's double jeopardy. In no way am I defending child molesters (see above statement).

I don't think that's right at all.....I think they are just as sick as you do, but they have a serious problem and need help for it.....I think there should be a community that these people can go to and live in and get help, but make sure its far away from any other neighborhood or school.......sticking them in prison for life with murderers does nothing......or maybe just cut there penis off......that would be another good idea.....never get an erection again......but sticking them in prison for life is kind of harsh......these are people with sick fantasies.....and don't understand that what they are doing is wrong....I'm sorry but i cant help but feel sorry for them.......Of course i feel sorry for the victims....these poor kids will be screwed up for the rest of there life's, but prison for life.....i don't agree.
