who would make the perfect voice for Calvin and who would be able to do Hobbes?

This is one of the reasons it was never considered. Bill Watterson, the creator, held very very VERY high standards for his work, and if he was still drawing Calvin and Hobbes, it might have been a battle to do so, because if it didn't translate well, he wouldn't allow it. Hobbes' voice probably wouldn't be too difficult to do. Hobbes, according to Watterson, is older than Calvin, and I would expect his voice to be somewhere in the 20-30 range. Calvin, however, would be extremely difficult. Though Calvin is firmly established as six years old, he has "...a wide vocabulary range that rivals that of an adult as well as an emerging philosophical mind." So the question is, who would be a good voice for Calvin? I don't think there is a "Perfect" voice for Calvin, simply because every person who reads it has their own voice for him. When he is whiny, one might imagine him as a six year old voice, but when philosophical, it might be difficult to have a six year old voice sounding so adult.

Hobbes: The giy who voiced him in the Robot Chicken version of Calvin and Hobbes, but a tad bit deeper
Calvin: Like a younger version of Ranbow Dash

Wow is Blue Bomber a little intense or what?
When I read the comic I always imagined Hobbes having a voice like the jaguar in Disney's the Jungle Book. Smooth, a bit of a British accent, kind, etc.
As for Calvin, there was a precocious little boy I used to baby sit and it was his voice that I put with Calvin.
