No, the heart pumps blood. The heart is a metaphor for feelings, though, which is why people can die of a broken heart. Somewhere between the soul and mind, love is decided.

I think it has to do with the sixth feeling + a perception of another person comparing to your ideals and you psychological standing. All together. Also it has to do with the chemicals in your body that accept the chemicals of another person who you like more than others. I read about it somewhere. I think heart has nothing to do with your love, but it does if somebody hearts your thilings and than you feel pain in your heart.

No its a chemical reaction that releases endrophins in the brain that make you feel that way. Chocolate does the same thing. Thats why sometimes you feel youre in love and sometimes you dont even though you might still care for that person.

Guess what.....I believe that God decides your love. He gives us a gift by doing so. It comes from HIM and is given to us for no reason. It grows inside of you eternally. It never goes away as HE gave it to you to expand with or not. If you try to move forward with it and it isn't working, then your answer is to keep it safe inside of you as a gift of a gold band around your heart for all eternity.....Sounds crazy, huh....Well so be it....It's real........+

no.. because the heart can't feel.. it's just a symbolism that people use for love.. all emotions are still generated in the brain.. and that includes love...

actually, love is a chemical reaction. You chose a mate based on your parents...ex: if your a girl and your dad is tall, you'll unintentionally look for a tall guy. That's why they say, "We got chemistry" lol
