Well... depends on what music you like. Here's some advice -

- If you like rock, get Blink 182 or Linkin Park.
- If you like hip-hop, get 50 Cent.
- If you like techno, get Eiffel 65 or Benny Benassi.
- If you like rap, get Eminem or Dr. Dre.

So - that's my advice!!!

I was born in the 60s and consider the music of my generation to be the late 60s through the early 80s.

It would now be considered Oldies or Classic Rock.

I would like to say bands like The Jimi Hendrix Experience, Led Zeppelin, and Pink Floyd; but unfortunately I will have to go with pop princesses like Brittany Spears. Although there is some good music out there today like Dave Matthews Band, Jack Johnson, and Phish.

My generation is now, today. But the music I listened to back in the 70's was rock; Led Zepplin, ACDC, the real rock and roll. Live long Stairway to Heaven

Classical, Big band, Big band swing, Crooners era, 50s-60s-and some early 70s Rock and Roll. Most everything beyond that isn't even music.

I was born in 1968, so I love the 60's Grateful Dead , Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, ETC. I also love the 70's. I was in high school during the 80's but I don't much care for that. I think you develop your own musical taste.

My music generation would be classic rock, funk, and 80's music, however it's the newer music thats taking over. I still stick to my roots, cuz you shouldn't ever forget where you originated, and with that said, OLDIES is my preference for music...

Old School Rap.. not this lame bs, over club beats they keep regurgitating today (minus Kanye West, Common, Outkast & Eminem)

I am talkin' Slick Rick, EPMD, Whodini, De La Soul, UTFO, Zapp,

I also really like 80's music too.
