I do think she'd make an excellent President. Someone recently brought up that a lot of the countries we have strained relationships with do not respect women in authoritative roles, especially as leaders of a country. As a result, would this cause us a problem?

Most other industrialized nations have had or have women in presidential-like roles, so it wouldn't be a big deal. i too think it is time for a woman to be president, but not condeleeza (i'm bush as a woman) rice

I really don't think that anyone would take Hillary seriously. She has a lot of issues. Hillary and Bill Clinton feed off of attention. They live for it and will do anything to get it.

I am a woman and really don't see anything wrong with having a woman President. However, Hillary should NOT now or ever be that.

How'd you like to, figuratively, take that level of respect and put it on steroids?

President Bush is an easy target. However, imagine how much more difficult it would be for foreign countries to denigrate a black woman holding our highest office.

Could they call us racist? Would they be able to summon the kind of irrational blind rage against a woman of color?

Hillary has really tried to soften her image. She's wearing much better clothes, and she finally got the hair style just right. But many people still see her as shrill, and do not trust her.

If we don't trust her, how will foreign nations act towards her?

A woman in the white house would be the absolute worst thing that could happen to this country. Every other president except for JFK was protestant, JFK was a cathilic. To see the focus still put on religion for presidency and think that a woman could win the election is retarded.

No, of course not! She is looked at as a woman scorned! She is an idiot on top of it! No way! She just needs to disappear. Maybe her and Billy can somewhere privately to work out their issues.

I would have to vote for PeeWee over Hillary any day of the week and that is pretty sad! Personally, I like Lou Dobbs for President!

Yes, they would. However, the red staters here would never let that happen (or respect her) because they still believe women are lesser beings. The rest of the world is far more enlighted. Look at Margaret Thatcher and that was 30 years ago!

Britain had Margaret Thatcher and she was ok.
I'm Australian and heard a tell all interview with Bill yesterday.
Hillary appears to have many good qualities, she didnt kill Bill did she LOL.
I feel she would be accepted here, and I agree she would make an excellent president.

Respect? I doubt anybody on the planet has genuine respect for the country as a whole. Tolerate would be closer to the mark.
