From my experience of working with make-up, Fashion Fair wasn't that great but a lot of the Fashion Fair customers used to tell me that Iman and Bobbie Brown are great. They seemed to prefer those products ... (though why they were buying a Fashion Fair is a mystery ... I think Fashion Fair is cheaper?).
You would benefit from seeing a specialist consultant though but beware that they will be biased towards their product to encourage you to buy it!

MAC does have the widest spectrum of foundations for black skin, but they dont often get the correct undertones that black skin can sometimes have and therefore, can look ashy and chalky at times. When i used MAC, i had to blend 2 colors in the winter and 3 in the summer to get the correct shade. I have some yellow undertones in my skintone, so the MAC would be too red or too ash. I got a coupon for some Loreal HIP and i LOVE IT.
It is oil free and full coverage. Has a wide spectrum of colors, each shade having a foundation for yellow AND red undertones. It is a lot cheaper than MAC too. Its like 10 bucks at wal mart and honestly, I love it. I still use MAC concealer, eye make up and powder, but i LOVE loreal HIP foundation.

MAC like everyone has been saying has a great line of foundations for darker skin tones. Make Up Forever also has some great foundations. I find that MAC is the best. I have used it in countless fashion shows and photo shoots. The studio fix is great!!! Hope you find what you are looking for!

Cover Girl has some good products lately. I know there used to be a whole line in the stores that was discontinued a few years ago. MAC or Bobby Brown might have good foundation.

Go to a Mac counter that is in a location that is somewhat diverse. They usually have a nice variety of foundations. Bobby Brown Cosmetics is also really good. Hope that helps!

On Qvc.com they have a makeup line called bare essentials, and they have a powder foundation for black skin. I use the light one and it is great with the mineral veil. The eyeshadows are great and last along time. My favorites are the blushes tho.

You don't need foundation! Black people are just as good as white people! Don't buy the foundation, but make the most of what you've got, because one day you wont be able too...

Personally, You can go wrong with MAC. If your on a budget, I like Maybelline, and Black Opal make good products for black skin.

Check out my website www.marykay.com/jdesantiago. I would take a look at the Bronze 708 or 808. They are made specifically for black skin. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me from there. Hope this helps you out!
