Fast Ringworm Cure?

MTG - an oil - will work on ringworm. If you're not near a place that has it try cotton and listerine or clorox and dab it on the ringworm spots. NOT BROKEN SKIN!! If you're *sure* it's ringworm (round patches) dabbing clorox or listerine on it (put on cotton then on the spot) will work. You need to be EXTREMELY careful if the spots are up by the eye. This was a method done at an off track place I worked and it cleared it up...you'll need to do it for several days in a row. The MTG is also effective on all kinds of "things" a horse can get - skin irritations, fungus etc.

You can buy a salve called Nolvasan it wil clear up ring worm.
MTG also works well. Scarlet oil will also work. As will many things. Listerine will work but it burns and the horse may not like it to well.
You will need to treat it every day for a week or more and if you have had any of your blankets on the horse wash them. Also if you have used any of your brushes on him bleach them.
Ringworm is very contageous to humans and dogs and cats.

I just had that problem with my dogs! I also have horses and all you have to do is go to your local feed store or Tractor Supply Co. and buy either an ointment to put on it or just regularly worm your horse.

Go to your local Tractor Supply or Co-op there is a salve you can buy specifically for it.
It works on dogs and people too.

Use Lotramin I think that is how you spell it. It is what they use for athletes feet. I had ring worm along with my cats and my dogs and that is what the vet told me to use. And it worked for me.
