I have a pound of R-12 that I don't need. I know you had to have a license to buy it. Can I sell it or is that illegal?

Per EPA Regulations Owning, Possession or the attempt to sell or buy R-12 Freon without the EPA license for it is a felony - (Throwing it away is unlawful as well).

I know that you can turn it into any licensed recovery agent - most auto shops etc.
I also know of at least 4 people to face 1 year sentence's and 50K dollar fines for having 'one can' (or one pound).

You spelled refrigerant wrong TWICE. We get the message though.

You may sell it, it is not illegal.
