of course there's nothing "wrong" with you... some people have more pigmentation in their lips than others. Now, if they are bothering you, causing you pain or have changed in the past few months, it could be an allergic reaction to a lipstick, gloss or other skincare/beauty product or something else.

However, if you've had naturally red lips your whole life, there is nothing wrong with that at all.

If you are looking to tone them down a bit, you can use a yellow or green tinted concealer on them BEFORE you apply your lipstick or gloss... If you like more of a nude or natural looking lip, use one with a slight grey-ish/beigey base like MAC lipstick in Myth, Frou or High Tea.

Ashley, are you kidding me?! That's nonsense! It means you probably have absolutely excellent circulation. I paint, and draw, when I can. Most people have dead coloring. Many moons ago, before radio, tv, and newspapers, there were portrait painters. Sometimes they'd get together when they got a good model and practice. Or, they'd exchange maybe like notes?

Example: Boy ya shoulda seen that burgomaster I had to paint last week!! Used up all the color I had!!!

Yeah, I had a great model. Had naturally curly hair, red red lips, and very pink cheeks!! Used up all the Rose Madder I had, but it was worth it!!!

See what I mean?

And don't worry about your looks. Know what a Swan is? Look it up!!!!!!!!

No you're just healthy. Don't worry about and enjoy them. A lot of women would kill to have that. Just use a clear gloss on them and they will look nice.
