After having plastic surgery on a 6 inch scar left behind on my stomach since birth, the plastic surgeon told me to rub in daily cocoa butter and vitamin E. The scar healed without lumps or discoloration!

I had a shoulder opperation, and I found that if you rub a bit of Vitamin E oil on it regularly, the redness fades and it heals better. If the scars are older, it will help as well... Good luck.

Use the Scare serums they have at the drug stores you can buy don't cover up the scar with a bandage or anything because you want to let it air rate.
