Yes, I also had to drink more when I was breastfeeding. I just craved water during those times.

One of the best things you can do to keep your uterus healthy is drink tons of water - at least 6-8 glasses a day. So, yes, do drink even though its gonna cause you to keep peeing alot. Also, the water helps flush out the salt in your body that causes bloating, so drinking lots of water actually reduces that bloated feeling.
You may want to drink a little less at bedtime, so you don't have to get up too much in the middle of the night, but you still need to drink some water sometime before going to bed, probably right when you start getting dressed or ready before bed, instead of right before lying down.
Also, the alternative is that some women feel the urge to pee even when they don't need to, when pregnant. They sit on the toilet and hardly a drop comes out. So, its not good to cut back on drinking water at all, even though its a pain to keep running to the bathroom.
And as you figured, it almost always gets better by the second trimester. It shouldn't be a big problem again until the last few weeks of the very end.

You need half your weight in ounces of water. Say you weigh 140 lbs, then you'd need 70 ounces of water every day. If you weigh 200 lbs, you'd need 100 ounces.
The eight glass a day recommendation doesn't work for everyone, and it leaves you unclear on what to do. The amount of water you need varies according to your size.
If you are pregnant and you have to pee often, and it is unrelated to how much fluid you are consuming, you should drink a bit more water (a glass or two for a 150 lb woman). Other than that, just follow the weight ratio requirement.

Yes you need to drink as much water as possible. You will pee more often as you come further along in your pregnancy. as you get bigger your bladder gets smashed and you will have to pee about every ten minutes it seems like. You have to make sure that you don't drink anything with die in it or caffeine.
your body cycles out the ambiodic fluid that is around the baby that is why it is important that you drink lots of water.

There is no set amount of liquid you have to drink, I just had my 2nd baby 12 weeks ago and this is what my doctor told me. As long as you stay hydrated and drink water whenever you get thirsty you will be fine. Do not let yourself get dehydrated, it is not fun and is extremely bad for the baby. Try to stay away from caffeine and sugery drinks

Just drink 8 glasses a day, or more if you want it - and don't worry. Bladders don't always pee in proportion to intake!

in your first trimester it is the increase of certain hormones and your growing uterus pressing on your bladder that makes you urinate more often it is advisable that you drink as much water as yu can as it is healthy for your baby if you are dehydrated so is the baby and thoes effects can last a life time so keep in mind the inconvienince of more bathroom trips is well worth a healthy baby

Only if she is thristy.....lol. You still need to get in 8 8oz glasses of water unless your Doctor tell you not to. Find a good physician and you can always call his office to talk to him or his nurse when you have questions regarding your pregnancy.
