The memories are always accompanied by a feeling of nostalgia. You could consider that a very very sacred feeling and should respect it as it is your key to the past and future all in one moment. If you ever get the advantage of collecting all your fave 80's songs by tape or off the radio, put them onto a cd and when you want to be inspired to your highest level, as nostalgia is basically the highest level of inspiration, pop it in and let your mind wander in the woods...

I'm not 80 yet so I'm afraid I can't answer this. My gran like Mantovani though or anything with a nice tune that she can tap her slipper to.
She doesn't like her songs to be too long though as she likes to listen to a full song before falling asleep, but it's difficult to find songs less than 30sxeconds in length. That's why she likes TV theme tunes best, plus they're usually easy to whistle without her teeth in.

The Message by GrandMaster Flash and the Furious Five.

Memories, where do I start?????

It reminds me of the good ole times, when hip hop was great to listen to and yet had a message to it. The video related to the lyrics. There were no litlle chicken heads dancing in bikinis in the video for no apparent reason.

It's funny, everytime someone says, "Don't push me ...."
I respond with, "close to the edge, I'm trying not to lose my head, ah-ha-ha ha"

Any and every song by Guns n' Roses. It reminds me of when I was a teenager, not a care in the world and full of energy. I miss that.
