Basic facts: The Taliban now control 1/3 of Afghanistan. A Taliban-like regime is about to take control of Somalia. Iraq is heading toward a civil war. Guns and bombs aren't winning this. Why won't you admit that you were wrong on HOW to fight this war?

You seem to forget Nichole, that there hadn't been a Terrorist attack on US soil between 1993 and 2001. I don't count the OKC bombing because that was a CIVIL attack, carried out by neo-nazi's. But you still haven't answered my question.

You also seem to forget that we controlled 100% of Afghanistan as of last year. And that we were in Somalia as of late 1990 which was PRIOR to Clinton. Sorry. Try again.

How can you say they're not working? Christ on crutches, we've only been at this for 4 years or so. This is a long term global war that will last decades, as the president spelled out when he started this. And you're ready to cut and run now? Pathetic.

As for fighting this war, first, you have to acknowledge that Clinton's do-nothing policies led directly to 9/11. This is truth, and it is undeniable.

And as for wars, they are never the same, and the factors are never the same, so there is no knowing prior to the war the exact method of how to do it. No warplan in the history of the world lasted past the first contact with the enemy. It is all then adapt and improvise, and you eventually figure out the right way to do things. Then the enemy changes tactics and you start over again.

That's how wars work, since the beginning of time. If you ever chose to seek knowledge, you'd have known this. Military history 101.

Your mewling about it being wrong does not make it wrong, and it does not mean we're losing.

Humm if I remember correctly it was that POS Bill Clinton that pulled us out of Somalia. Iraq needs a civil war, I seem to remember a time when slavery was legal in the United States, and the only thing that ended that was a Civil War. Why won't you admit that you libs are all a bunch of p ussies that are afraid to get your hands dirty.

1.Before we invaded Afgan., Taliban controlled 100% OF COUNTRY.

2. Liberal policies of Clinton and U.N.created Somalia crisis.

3. Every day, Iraq gets better prepared to defend its self (and they better hurry, times running out)

The only way I was wrong about the war strategy is in that we aren't using all of the weapons and tactics at our disposal in the interest of being politically correct.

I don't think you or me can say how to fight and win this war. After 911 it proved we needed to go after terrorist groups and training areas that are wanting to do us harm. Is the administration going after the right people in te right way? well I don't know but we could not continue to go on the "Clinton plan" of just ignore them and they will go away. If we want the terrorist to leave us alone we must get rid of them or stay out of matters between them and Israel. Our government has tried for years to protect Israel and this is what has caused the hatred from the Islamic extremist. Without our help Israel will be taken over in no time and with our help and support they become the aggressor so what do you do? I say let the Jews and Muslims figure it out but that is my opinion. If we are to help protect Israel then we must also protect ourselves against their enemies.

Those parts aren't working. But you don't know of the parts that ARE working -- that is, the back-channel, black bag ops and changes in things like Money laundering etc.

Problem it is in the approach-- was all up front and via big military ops (Afghanistan was necessary, Iraq was not). Much more focus is/was necessary to fight the war they way they do.

When you have cock-roaches and other bugs in the house, you don't burn the house down. You bring in exterminators and get them where they live and breed. You put out poison bait.

Isn't it amazing how tough and macho conservatives are when somebody else is doing the fighting? Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld and Rove could have a nice ***** slap fight.

In addition, anything that doesn't work they somehow attribute to Clinton, or claim that it is working, and if anything actually worked, they'd claim credit for it. (Been none of those yet.)

Amount of terrorists has more than tripled since this war began.

Finally, they'd have to be able to pull their heads out of their collective asses to see it is not working.

Diplomatic tactics and surgical strikes really seemed to help the soldiers, sailors, marines, and civilians killed in the USS Cole attacks, the Khobar Towers attacks, and the attacks on our embassies. Allowing the al-quaeda network to grow, expand their weapons capabilities, and increase their funding from Islamic extremist regimes has worked too. Apparently, "you people" either don't understand the threat, or you don't care. When you stick your head in the sand I guess that leaves you in your favorite position anyway.

Your'e right.

We should do what liberals do best. First, let's promote abortion so there are less 'enemies' born in the first place, then push the homosexual agenda on those who make it past the baby mills.

We'll feminize and demasculate the men, win them over with happy and festive gay day parades, get them to put down their weapons and pick up rainbow flags and offer them federally funded sex change operations.

That should win the war on terror.

What would you suggest. you seem to know what is not working.

Would you suggest we run home? That would teach those pesky terrrorists, wouldn't it.

One fact you forgot to mention. There has not been a single terrorist attack on U.S. soil since the war on terror.

Depending whose pocket you're in the policies and tactics could be beneficial.
