In US, normally A=4; B=3; C=2; D=1
So a 2.4 is close to a C+ ... unless the grading prof decides to call it a B-!
(Who knows how they decide?!?!?)

The GPA of 2.4 converted to a letter grade in the USA would be a 'C+', but it all depends on how they grade so it could also be a 'B-'.
A = 4.0 ( It all depends on the school )
A- = 3.6
B+ = 3.3
B = 3.0
B- = 2.6
C+ = 2.3
C = 2.0
C- =1.6
D+ = 1.3
D = 1.0
F = 0.0

It depends...
If the grading scale does not count the .4 then it is a C.
If the grading scale counts the .4 it is a C-

Depends on the grading scale.
If.....
A=4.0
B=3.0
C=2.0
D=1.0
F=0.0
then it would be a C+
