My boyfriend and I just got into a huge fight because he was going to go do a huge drug deal on a boat (I just got done watching the movie blow before I went to bed). I went to the boat after the deal had been done and I asked what he had been up to since then and why he didn't come home. He said he was writing a love letter to me. He then fell asleep on the boat and I went looking for this letter. On the letter it said, what a beautiful night, what a beautiful time, I love the moments we have together Lindsey(my name is Casey). Then I confronted him and asked who was Lindsey and it came up that she was on the boat. I was drowning her, but she kept coming back. I didn't break up with my boyfriend because I loved him very much, but everywhere we went Lindsey was there.

I don't know anyone named Lindsey and my boyfriend doesn't do drug deals.

What does this mean? I woke up crying terribly and wanting my boyfriend.

And I would like to ask also why is it that I always have bad dreams when my guy isn't in bed with me? If he is there then I wake up well rested.

I'd say the drug deal stuff is just residuals from the movie, but the part about the buoyant Lindsey is your mind telling you something - either you don't trust your boyfriend, or are afraid you're losing him, or both.

Regardless, your subconscious is trying to tell you "Hey, this may not last." Which could be true - possibly you're sensing it intuitively, but trying to ignore it. Thus the dreams; repressed feelings always bubble up somehow.

I'd say, sit down, and really try to think through these possibilities. Be brutally honest to yourself. How do you feel about the relationship? How committed do you think he is? Is there a possibility you're more in love than he is?

Just try to understand the situation, see it for what it is, and accept it.

Most dreams mean something or the other.I am not an expert in this, but I think your dreams are giving some signs which can either mean that maybe your boyfriend is doing something wrong or maybe u think your bf is cheating on u(when maybe he actually is not).Or maybe it was just a dream and u need to for get about it.
P.S.The thing about the girl, I think it was just because u had seen the movie the night before.

I think it means that you should not watch movies before you go to sleep...or watch movies that you feel like dreaming about and being in.

Or maybe you secretly don't trust your boyfriend, you're psychic, and he's cheating on you with some girl you don't know named Lindsey.

It means absolutely nothing. Just a bunch of unrelated things thrown together of which half are untrue. Forget about it.

sometimes dreams are just dreams. but mostly subconciencely you might think that your b/f might be cheating on you. and of course you watched that movie before going to bed.
