I'm torn between these 2 mottos (for my website) to choose for my nearly finished Website Designing company.

Which one would people around here recommend me to go with.

>> your presence matters (emphasise on the importance of company/individual's availability on the Internet by means of having a website)

>> from possibility to reality (emphasising on the thought of having a website coming to reality & between these two comes "our own Webdesign company" i.e. a MEANS to turn the possibility to reality)

Any other recommendation would be equally welcomed.

Anyhow, what the best location to have a motto i.e.

> IN the banner
> just underneath the banner
> far left (since my navigation bar is at the top just underneath the banner).

I have read some of the other answers and can promise that I have just thought of these, and they are not plagiarised, as far as I am aware.

I think your motto has to suggest computers and the web. The ones you suggest, although good, could apply to lots of busineses.

Some I have thought of are:
Hits by design (this is my favourite - short and to the point)
We'll hit you with success
Because you want to be hit with success
The successful hitters
All hits, no misses
Because hits matter
Make your hits count
You won't strike out with us
Catch the hits with us
Have hits, not blogs
Hit for success
Happiness = hits

Do you have a logo? If so, why not put the motto round the logo? (or under it, like a 'smiley' face)
However, when you have decided on a motto, play around and decide which one looks best. After all, you know what the banner looks like and we don't!

Good luck with your endeavour! - and please let me know what you went with in the end (even though it's unlikely to be mine!), as well as your website so I can admire it!

According to most modern business consultants, mottos (especially long ones) are being replaced by single word mottos because the average consumer has not the time, patience, or persistence to remember more than that. I would suggest rethinking this and come up with one or two words.. i.e. Don's Web - Simple Complexity.. or whatever.

I'd agree to get rid of the "your" - but, I like the first option. And, I'd put it close to where your logo is, until you have enough brand identity and your logo can stand on its own - its probably best to keep the two of them paired up for a while on your website.

Of these two I'd choose the first but drop the word "your". It's hard though, trying to judge without a name to relate it to. Unless it's a really dull name and I'd be very concerned about that.

"Hits Welcome"

"You won't mind getting hit"

Get it?
