I think Britney Spears is not as bad as the tabloids say. She is just a person who needs her privacy like everyone else. The tabloids should let her alone. So to answer your question, I think the interview was a good/smart thing for her to do. I think she told the truth. Don't believe everything the tabloids say.

I like Britney - but that doesn't mean that I believe she told 100% of the truth during the interview. I personally think the tabloids need to leave her alone, star or not she's entitled to her privacy
