Yes you can have your period and be pregnant. Not too common-place but possible. Some women might have a period each month throughtout the entire pregnancy.

The measuring part is from the top of your pubic bone to the top of your uterus. That is just measuring and not a proof positive answer. The doctor measures to make sure that baby is growing according to schedule. If that was your first visit to the doctor then he has nothing else to go on, but he will track from then on.

Get the book "WHAT TO EXPECT WHEN YOUR EXPECTING". It is a fantastic book, and goes over everything. That and talk to your Dr!!!!!! He is the one with answers.

Good luck!

YES you can. You can have your period for months and be pregnant. What the doctor says you measured too, is accurate. A friend of mine had her period for three months and then found out she was pregnant.

Actually you can.
A girl I worked with had 5 periods and then found out she was 5 months pregnant! Whether they were "normal" periods I don't know, but she had NO idea she was pregnant.

Yes. You can have more than one period and still be pregnant. When this happens your periods are usually shorter and lighter than normal. I suggest that you see a Dr.

Yes that is possible.
You will know more when you get measured the next time.
I know you are anxious and really want to know when you are due.
Go with what your doc says.
I thought I was due sooner but I was wrong and the last month drove me nuts.
I should have listened to him.

be calm first of all stress is no good for the baby, maybe you just miscalculated the last menstrual cycle and do not realize it and yes most woman can bleed and have a normal pregnancy sweetie as long as there is no pain or passing tissue with the cycle as you call it

A sonogram will also help determine the right time. they will measure the fetus and go from there...
