Bluetooth technology is not specific to a carrier, and you should be able to send almost any type of file (pics, music) to another Bluetooth capable phone. Of course there are exceptions to every rule. If you paid for the ringtones, they will be locked, you won't be able to send them to another phone, unless you know how to hack them. If the pic is copyrighted, the same applies. Try researching your phone to become more familar with it's ability's....check out phonescoop.com, you may find some help information there.

If it was possible, no it would not cost. What needs to be done is that your friend can upload using bluetooth or USB to a computer, then you can download them using the same method.
Note: I don't know if there is a copywrite on MP3 ringtones. Most likely there is, so doing this might be illegal

Assuming you get that to work.. Yep.
You may have a better chance connecting to a PC first. There are programs around for almost any type of phone to make it possible to get or take ringtones and or wallpapers of of it or to put on it. Even from the manufacturer.
But to avoid doing illegal stuff like copyright infringement.. why not make your own ringtones.

In theory yes, but if it is one that has been bought most of the time they are locked so that they can not be transferred.
