The Refs have been to eager to reach for their cards and thus have controlled to the outcome of the games, just look at the USA in their game against Italy and then against Ghana!!

Stop blaming refs for everything. USA did no have a strong team, it was stronger than last cup but they did not play well at all. They came out to play against Czech like it was a friendly did better with Italy and Ghana. USA needs to change their couch and train better strikers. If u look at the team they have no one to put that final touch for the goal, no center forward to give good passes. Don't get me wrong USA team came a long way from the first time they played in the cup but they need more experience and more playing time in Europe. USA is a baby when it comes to football.

I agree. The refs are doing bad in most of the game. It's hard for a US fan to understand after the Italy and Ghana game.

I think refs in ALL sports should get called on the carpet when they make CONTROVERSIAL calls such as this that OUTRIGHT determine the final of the game. They should have an interrogative press conference in which the media shows the clip AFTER the game and make the ref/judge/umpire defend his reasoning for the call.

ABSOLUTELY!!! The refs had it out for the US but even if they hadn't called a penalty kick and the score remained 1 - 1 the US still didn't score again and it would have ended in a tie thus eliminating the USA...

became you staring on an identical international cup as me. 2002 had lots of the main horrendous refereeing blunders ever common...that Turkish participant who have been given sent off for kicking the ball at rivaldo and he acted as though he have been shot whilst it needless to say shows on the replay the ball purely hit his ft, Spain against Korea morrientes scored a proper headed objective and it became disallowed because of the fact they pronounced it have been out of play earlier it became crossed into the container, Germany vs u . s . quarter very final the sport became 0-0 and united statesa. had a shot it became getting in and the German participant saved it together with his hand on the line and German scored and wasn't into the purely suitable..the refereeing in that international cup became undesirable. and so became the popular of play. granted the referee's have not been that solid in this one yet a minimum of the fits are greater useful the set up for the communities is plenty greater exciting because of the fact there are some massive communities which will meet one yet another and the popular of lots of the objectives scored and the quantity of objectives scored has been international classification.

Somebody call the wambulance "North Dakota baseball player" is going to cry. You're are just mad that your poor excuse for a football team lost to Ghana. Why is everybody blaming the refs, probably because they are too stupid to realize that FIFA dictates the rulings and refs- Blame FIFA if you want a scapegoat for your crappy US team.

The whole Cup's been a joke so far. You think Ghana had the game give to them, what about the Italy game? We completely outplayed them.
I guess it's just fashionable to hate the US.

I think the refs need to go back to ref university for some continuing education.
