I was proposed to on X-Mas eve 2001 we were at his family's house and went for a walk it was really sweet and simple it was lightly snowing all the houses were decorated with lights we were just walking and all of a sudden he grabbed my arms stopped me and turned me to face him and didn't say anything just kinda froze for a few seconds then got down on one knee and asked i loved it because it was spontaneous he was supposed to wait till X-Mas day but said he felt it then so he did it and I'm glad he did.

Well let's just say my hubby did not get down on his knees so if u r wanting to propose make sure u get on ur knees i dont know why any1 would ever forget to not get on ur knees but that is the most important thing no matter what and make sure u have beautiful things to say

He got down on one knee as soon as he walked in the door from work one day and said that he loved me emotionally, physically and intellectually. I kinda knew it was coming because his mom had me trying on a few of her mother's rings a few days before. It's important that its personal and heartfelt. Be carefull how you put things. Learn from the mistakes in the movie the Bachelor with Chris O'Donnel and Renee Zellwegger. It's funny but its kinda classic mistakes that guys make.

well im only 14 so yeh but my friends mom got proposed to by taken into the middle of times square and it said marry me liz? i love you. on the screen.

My husband took me hiking, and he hid the ring in his backpack. He asked me to get something out of the backpack for him, and there was my ring! Then he turned around and said really nice stuff to me and asked me to marry him. He had booked a night at a great bed & breakfast, so we went there to celebrate, and he took me out to dinner at a nice place. It was such a special day - I don't think I'll ever forget it! =D
