Some people talk about it like it is cowboys and indians here. Like it is a movie. "Root em out." "Take care of em over there rather than here." You have everything from violent night time raids that further anger the citizens and turn them into militia men to putting in puppet governments. It's serious business here. We could be poking at a hive of bees. What if a worst case scenario did occur? What if they really do have the capability to launch a nuclear or chemical offensive on U.S. soil right now? That could kill hundereds of thousands within a day. You can't prevent all attacks. Any reasonable politician or military strategist will tell you that. What if our tactics have actually made things much worse? Just because something hasn't occured by now doesn't necessarily mean that it can't or won't occur at all. And it doesn't mean that the current efforts have somehow stifled any future plans of the enemy. Was there a better way of going about this? Diplomatic relations? Sanctions?
