What is your favorite character from the show, "The Office?" (From the UK or USA version) If you have seen both versions how does their character compair to the overseas version?

I loved the UK version. The US one has grown on me. The UK characters are more subtle...they gain more of your sympathy than the US counterparts.
The US show is more in-your-face and some of the characters are so out there you can't feel sympathetic to how weird or stupid they are, so you don't care about them.
The UK "Gareth" is the same character as the US's "Dwight". Gareth is just as anal and a kiss-up as Dwight, but he is also so much more pathetic, which is endearing, even though you hate him.
I like the UK "Tim" and the US "Jim" pretty equally, maybe Tim a little more.
I like the US "Pam" better than the UK "Dawn".
I like the UK boss "David" (Ricky Gervais) better than the US one "Michael" (Steve Carell) because he gets under your skin more. I love Steve Carell, but the character is a little too out-there. I don't have nearly the compassion for how pathetic he is as I do for Ricky Gervais' character.

I love the relationship between Pam and Jim. They could do a show on those two and I would watch it. They are so cute together.

I like Dwight, he's very funny. But I also like Stanley. It's so funny how Michael is always saying that Stanley has a handicap because he's African American. Michael is so offensive and he doesn't realize it! lol

Michael, Pam, Jim, Dwight...... I can't decide. But I do know that this show makes me laugh more than any other.

I don't get to see it very much but I love it. I like the Boss and the girl receptionist. I don't know their names, but they are my favorites.
