They obviously DONT know the REAL you now do they? Actually outside beauty is only a fraction and i do mean a very SMALL one to beauty and you must be young bc lol when you get older it becomes flattering to hear your beautiful. BUT not to worry bc if its bothering you that bad maybe your inner beauty is really not much to look at and as you do get older you wont hear it as much and then you should be happy.

You can also say, I'm smart too or I'm funny also. You can help people to see the other characteristics you have other than beauty. It is definitely more important for a person to be well rounded!

why do you feel badly about it? It's natural for people to comment or say something about a beautiful person or flower. Just take it or leave it. It is a compliment.

I know what you mean! It's hard and when you say that to people they think you are just being falsely modest or are looking for them to start praising you. It's like you want to say to people "HEY, I'm a human being! I'm smart, witty, funny, sometimes bitchy but I'm not dumb". People just don't get it.
