they back stab people and do what they have to do to be "popular" i cant believe some people! i also hate prep what-to-be's

I'm probably one of the preppiest people around. People comment on it frequently, but not all preppy people are the same. Most of the people you are talking about only dress preppy. Being a prep is a way of life. True prep's treat all people with kindness and compassion regardless of whether you are President or just a random person on the street. It is a simple way of living life and we just happen to look spectacularly well put together (without much effort) while doing it! I'm sorry though that your experiences with "preppy" people has not been a pleasant one, but please keep an open mind towards them and give us a second chance!

I think it is very silly to have superficial hates because someone has a different choice of style. I think if you ever took the time to get to know these people, you would find that they are not so different, deep down, than you. Indeed, I bet in 10 years you might find it hard to tell the difference between people who are preppy today and you.
Be careful of whom you hate. You might need their help one day.

For one thing hate is a very strong word, and why would you hate people because of a way they dress? I dress preppy because it looks good. For example take two people that are applying for a job, they are both qualified for the same position, however one is dressed preppy ( jeans, polo shirt, nice shoes, hair styled) and the other is dressed goth (black jeans, black shirt, boots with straps, dyed black hair) Which do you think the employer would choose to represent his or her company? I think that you by "hating" preppy people is just a manifestation of your own insecurities and low self-esteem.

Once you discover yourself I think you will learn that passing judgement on someone is not always the right thing to do. When I was in high school I hated them too! However I am now 22 and became friends with some of them...

You shouldnt hate just because of that reason, it may get on your nerves, you never know you may fall in love with some "prepppy", you have to look beyond that and look at other qualities as well.

you must be goth right? or punk? I dress preppy at times...but I have my own style....ya know not all preps are bad people why don't you get that through your skull?

i don't hate anyone for their choice of fashion, some people just get so used to be dressed nice for work that they just become more comfortable that way, however i do hate a snobbish attitude no matter who it is coming from

i don't hate the preps since i go to school with them and their nice to me... ya know not all preps are evil too, the ones i go to school with are like really nice.
