Firstly, you make 9*8 = 72 dollars a day. Then you make 72*5 = 360 dollars a week. Since there are 52 weeks a year, you make 360*52 = 18720 dollars annually

What everyone else has said and sadly that is what many Americans are *making* it on. Me and my husband did for the first 3 1/2 years of marriage and that was with him working full-time and me working part-time and going to college. Very hard but it can be done...you just have to sacrifice cable tv, internet, a fancy house and vehicles, eating out alot, etc. Now I have a good job thanks to my college and we do good not great but good.

Okay I am a math retard but really this isn't that hard.

9.00 x 40 hours a week x 52 weeks a year =18,720 BEFORE TAXES.

That is the veriying factor you probably only bring home around 14-15,000
