Here's the deal, if someone you know were to make a comment about your body, anything, how insecure would you be about it? example, if he said what's wrong with your toes, and nothing else what would you do from then on, specially when he's around?

it depends who that person is to me and how i feel about them. If it is someone i care about and is special to me that i would take the constructive criticism look at my toes(which i get pedicured) and laugh and find out what exactly what he felt was wrong with them, if it is simple then id fix it or not show my toes in front of him. If it is an average joe blow trying to criticize me than again id laugh and then walk away. Women will low self esteem will feel insecure if you tell them their hair is out of place, women like me who are secure laugh it off but would probably ask a close girlfriend later "is there something wrong with my toes" and move on. Word of advice only compliment a female unless you are getting engaged or married then you should feel comfortable enough to point out each others flaws. Hope that helps.

Actually I am not insecure at all. I do not have one part of my body that I want to change and have never been on a diet (of course, I am naturally skinny and have a high metabolism). I have had friends and relatives make comments trying to get me to think there's something wrong with me as a joke (my brothers and cousins told me I was fat --- come on, I weigh 105 lbs.). So in answer to your question, it would have no effect on me.

I am really insecure. To take your example, if my boyfriend said I had ugly toes but everything else on me was perfect (hah!) then I would like, be painting them all cute and wearing really cute shoes, or just never let him see them again.
Pretty pathetic, I know!

my man says i have ugly feet. he's the only one who has said that about my feet. He has nasty feet scaly/dry/stinky and he has an ingrown toe nail so i think he has no room to talk. If he's making fun of my weight i wear more clothes(i'm not overweight just thick). I'm insecure about certain parts of my body.

OMG my toes every one hates my toes cuz i have authritis in them and i'm only 15 bless my heart... i still wear sandles i feel if people don't like them you just need them to get used to them i am buy no means insecure

I'm pretty insecure, if a guy said I looked fat ( god forbid! ) I'd start a diet that day. I dont think guys know how much power they hold over us females with their harsh comments!

well i know i have messed up toes so that wouldn't bug me. but if someone said something really mean (not in a joking way) i wouldnt ever associate with them again. if it was just something stupid like toes, or ears, or lips then who cares? they aint perfect either

i hate to admit it, but i am very self concious...especially about my toes.
if i felt comforatble around him i would tell him to shove off about it and have a giggle about one of his bad points but if i didnt i would laugh it off and grab a pari of socks!
i dont feel uncomfortabl around people hoo are comfortable around me..but i go very shy in large grouops..
hmm good question..you've got me thinking now!! :p
