Hi, my husband and I are going to go to the clinic to get a blood pregnancy test done, and I was wondering how long does it take to get the results back?? My best friend said the same day, but I read it takes a couple days. Does anyone know from experience how long it takes? I got a positive HPT earlier this week, now I just want to get it confirmed. Thanks for all of your help!

I have never had one but I have heard that you can get them the same day.
However if you got a positive test already why not take a urine test at the doctor? If a hpt showed positive chances are a doctors would too if you are.

My wife had the results within an hour. In fact we hadn;t even left the doctors office when the results came in.

2 days usually (I did it on Friday and got results on Monday & with my first I had the bllod test on Tuesday and got results on Thursday) so about 48 hours

its takes a couple of days coz they have to send it off to a lab, i got mine i think either the next day or 2 days later i can't remeber but it wasn't the same day

mine blood test took a few hours... they called me a few hrs later to tell me that I was pregnant! Good Luck! :) I hope you get the answer that you want!!
