My parents are looking at a boat, simply for the recreational purposes of fishing and skiing type activities. We have heard things about Tahoe boats on both sides of the line. We are also looking at a Searay.

tahoes are cheap eficient and of good quality. they are made by tracker marine wich makes the best fishing boats. also they are sold at bass pro shops wich are all over the country so you dont have to drive far to get maintnence and repairs done on it like winterization and such. if u want a ski boat i would recomend going and getting a used nautiqa. they are competition ski boats and are sold 15k and under after about 5or8 competitions. if it is just pleasure and some water sports then i would go with baja marines islander 192. and a deck boat made by tahoe could perform any nead imaginable even though a deck boat is harder to tow. my advice would be to go to a dealer tell them what you want the boat to do and have them show u wickh model is right for you

I personally like the Searay but you should check this site out to see the options available and prices for both new and pre-owned.
