In a quiet place with few distractions (like the T.V., computer, etc.) like your bedroom at a desk. Someplace where you can concentrate on your study work. I usually study at the desk in my room so if you have one I suggest you study there! Some people concentrate better with soft music playing that way it isn't too quiet in the room or too loud. Sitting up is usually better than laying down. Also, don't just sit there studying for hours. Give your brain some time too think. In other words take a short break every now and then. Another thing you should do is try to repaet and reword the questions. That way you are not just memorizing the paper you are actually learning what you are studying. Good luck on your tests!!!

Everyone is different in the way they learn best. However, generally it is best to study in the space spot all the time. A well organized, quiet, place where one can focus on the work. Make sure you have all needed materials as well as a dictionary, theasurus, and maybe even an atlas. A computer also helps.

Find a place free from distractions. And when you feel like you're losing your focus, get up and walk around. Or better yet, take a 15-20 minute nap. Although I have yet to master the afternoon nap, it is recommended that you take a short nap in the afternoon (no more than 25 min.) to improve mental performance throughout the rest of the day. Also, make sure you have everything you need on hand, so that you don't get even more distracted trying to get organized.

Go to class every day, do the assignments on times, read the text book, and take notes. When you have a test coming up, refresh your memory on the most important points of the lectures and text book readings. This will result in hardly any stress on the day before the test as opposed to cramming the night before

For me it's repetition and music. Music always helps me concentrate for some reason. T.V. gives you something to look at therefore it's a distraction.
