I mean that cold icy steel feeling you get in the pit of your stomach when you're really raging.
The kind that everyone you see you just want to walk over and punch them in the face as hard as you can.
Just me? or anyone else, and how do you eliviate the problem?

1. Sit with your best posture.
2. Shrug shoulders and keep muscles tight/tense for 5 deep breaths.
3. Slowly release tension from shoulders.
4. Repeat

Note: Anger and stress usually hang out in the shoulders, but if you do this and it doesn't help, try other muscel areas (arms, legs, glutious maximus, back muscels, fist ... ect.

This can be a tough one, but I suggest you try to evaluate exactly where the rage is coming from and who or what it is for. Very rarely is it coming from the "inciting" incident or person who is bothering you at this moment. Usually it comes from a lot further back in your life and you have simply been carrying it ever since. Try to ask youself if whatever has happened is truly worthy of rage, and the answer is no. Look at your growing up years. And if you are inclined to punch out strangers, you should figure out who it is you really mean the punch for.

I,ve lashed out at a friend before and hurt him badly so rage is easy to deal with now, but what I do is punch the ground untill it hurts.

Get a punching bag. You can let off steam and exercise at the same time and not hurt anyone (including you) while you're at it.

I went to a therapist for a year and a half to learn coping skills and have been taking medication for mood swings for 10 years or more,it helps, but I still have episodes where I can't control it.
