Next time you have to make a call walk into her salon and sit in the waiting room and have a very loud conversation. This will definetely get across the message that you are a pansy and too afraid to simply mention to someone that their behavior bothers you. Grow some stones and go tell her. SHe probably doesn't realize it bothers you wuss.

Don't Ask, Tell her to talk somewhere else.
A business has a right to decide if anything is impeding customers from doing business with you and a loud phone talker in any language, puts people off. Tell her it's not good for your business and make her go somewhere else.
Really, it is your Employer's place to do this, but you can do it representing your boss, just get his approval. Then, if they want to raise a stink, they will find that you are united in your desires.
If she defies your desires, you can have the police come and urge her away from your store front. Don't be tempted to have the police come and do your job for you, Call the police AFTER civil attempts have failed.

Depends on what your business is. Is there any room to set up a table and some chairs? If someone was sitting there, she wouldn't come over there (maybe.)Then just take it down after a while and maybe she will have found a different spot. Or I guess just ask her to go somewhere else.

Tell her that you would appreciate it if she respected your business like you respect hers and would appreciate it, from now on for her to use her own telephone. Perhaps, also, you could make a new sign a place it in front of the phone for her to see for herself to read, and or scotchtape it right to the handle.

Honestly, you're really gonna have to bite the bullet and tell her! Maybe you can just send her a little note saying that her loud convos outside your door are bothering your customers and you would appreciate it if she can take her phone calls elsewhere. Either that, or when she gets one of her phone calls, go outside and take a smoke break, and always blow it in her direction. That'll get her to move! LOL

I agree with Tree, do ask her. But, be sure to ask when she is on the phone, chattering away. Be sure to be very polite, of course, but stand just a *little* too close.
P.S. If you're really too shy to ask her, have someone take a smoke break next to her each and every call. I volunteer!

Well the only way I can think of is to politely ask her if she could have her phone conversations some where else. I hope that helps.

wow... sounds annoying, i think you'll just have to ask her nicely... or you could start talking in front of her place of business. or you could talk really loudly kind of by her when she talks on the phone, that would be fun

as far as i'm aware it is a free country, maybe she just does not want the people she works with to hear, i'm sure you probably have no idea what she is saying.
then we have all the smokers, people with dogs, the homeless, people driving cars, busses lorrries, etc
you can't stop her. she is don't nothing wrong!!!
