Freddy Adu blows, he should of stayed on the Ghanian team but he wanted to move to the states, so they fixed that, got him a green card (he won the green card lottery apparently, what a coincidence), and the US got someone to market soccer.

The World Cup does NOT have an age limit, he is not there because he blows.

Also no one knows his real age because he doesn't have birth certificates, or anything else. They could perform a bone marrow test which would prove that he is actually 25 and its all down hill from here.

Adu is not ready to compete in the World Cup. I never agree with the whole "prodigy" mark on him. He needs to develop his game and maybe we'll see him in South Africa 2010.

Apparently he's only 7 years old, US soccer fans became excited when they discovered that he could score a goal: something the men's World Cup team has only accomplished once this year.

I heard he was too young, especially for World Cup play

He's on the practice squad. He travels with the team and stays with them he just doesn't play. Coach Arenas doesn't believe he's mature enough or has enough size to play this level of competition.

He is still a boy thus not yet a man...I'm sure you will see him play for the US in no time though.

He needs to be on the Ghanaian team, he needs to stay true to his motherland, besides he's too young for the US team.
