You might see if there is a freecycle group in your area. Freecycle is a group where people give away items for free that they don't need or want anymore rather than filling up the dumps. "Another Man's trash is another man's treasure". Alot of my son's clothing and toys have come off of freecycle. Thank goodness because I couldn't have kept him clothed with as fast as he is growing. He just turned 2 and is in 3-4T.

Hope this helps

If you have any older children, there's a great swap site (www.swapbabygoods.com). You can swap your gently used items for someone else's or you can buy them outright. Also, two sites w/some free stuff and links to coupons are
www.momsview.com and www.clubmom.com.
The Club Mom site requires you to accumulate points by shopping at sponsored sites but there are good coupons for stuff too. Finally, if you attend church, announce your pregnancy/birth and your church family will throw you a shower. Usually, you can be very specific as to what you need. I suggest a "Diaper Shower" where everyone brings diapers and wipes as these are the two items that will cost you the most during your child's first couple of years. Congratulations!! And, hold on tight!! God bless!

When I was expecting I went to Enfamil and Gerber, and Similac websites, also Pampers and Huggies. They all have things you can sign up for. I recieved free formula, diapers, coupons, etc from these companies.

babies/children cost money. stop trying to find free stuff. huggies.com or gerber.com gives away little samples, dont expect a 40 pack of diapers or ourfits to be given away. get a job and take care of the kid.

You can check the free bees section of your local craigslist.com...you could also post there asking if anyone has things to give away.
