Wikipedia says: Britannia. Look at this page and read the second and third paragraphs in the "History" section:

England only became "England" when the Romans arrived. Before then it was just a dodgy li'l island with tribes who were always at war with eachother.

so along came the Romans, decided to take over, called the whole thing, "Brittannia". however, they werent able to capture it all, coz the peeps up north were too tough (the picts and scots)

eventually, the Anglo Saxons came along, the Saxons, the Angles, and the Jutes; all from Germany. or probably "Germannia", or someting weird like that.

the Angles took over the little bit that we now call England, and because they were the angles, they called it "Angle-land"

and i think we can all see the connection!

Britannia is the latin for this island.

The Angles (from who England gets its name) were a germanic tribe who landed in East Anglia (see where the name comes from?!) after the Saxons had mostly taken over, long after the Roman Empire lost control of Western Europe.

in case you nonetheless have faith that Jesus replace into no longer a physique manifestation of the very author God, the information that shaped the worlds made flesh, then you truly are nonetheless certain in a loss of revelation this is the first denial of the NWT rewrite; and the JW perception equipment. For it truly is not and alter into no longer the religion of the Apostles nor the plan of the only residing God. God has laid aside all different names to set forth the Lord Jesus Christ; that at his call all issues in earth under and heaven above ought to and could bow. For the 1st 3 hundred years, till fake doctrine defeated the actual church; Christians have been baptized interior the call of the Lord Jesus Christ. The Lord being his call under the call of dad; Jesus being his call under the call of Son; and Christ or Messiah being his call under the call of the Holy Ghost. Then as now, Jesus lives in his infants; who're the believers and the actual church in this ending hour.
